This term at school I have been involved in a variety of different activities. These have been fun, challenging, and inspiring.
I really enjoyed doing leisure sports for the first time, playing basketball and learning new math equations. The other thing I thought that was fun was being split up into different classes. Also I learnt how to be more resilient when something happens.
I’ve been challenged this term by a piece of paper with maths questions on it which I’m sure I did well in answering correctly. Also the art that we did with Mrs Burns is pretty hard especially when I’m trying to create it perfectly. Some of the spelling this term was hard as well and hopefully I’m showing great improvement. There’s one other thing I thought was challenging and that was making the island for my project based learning. It was hard.
There were things that inspired me, like how some girls did different tricks on the red equipment and how the teacher solved the math questions so quickly. I’m also inspired by how well everyone has been doing their work.

I really enjoyed making new friends because they play with me each day and make my learning at school so much fun. I also enjoyed playing basketball and soccer. Math and English were fun because I got to work out problems and write stories. Reading is fun because I got to learn new words.
I have been challenged this term by trying to stay neat so that I could get my pen license. It is also pretty hard to finish all my work on time with Mrs Burn. It is hard to make new friends. It is challenging to run the whole back oval.
I’m inspired by choir because it provided me with an opportunity to sing. I’m also inspired by the exercise equipment on the back oval because it helps me to work out and so do the clubs that my friends and I create. These clubs inspire me to make new friends. This term I’ve also been inspired to play basketball.

This roller coaster ride is a thriller but it can also be relaxing with the peaceful café down stairs!

The materials were quite easy to find. I just got 3 different sizes of baskets and sticky taped them together. With the shooter I just disconnected the end off a hot wheels car set and used that, and with the two boxes, the café was just a box with materials and the big pool was just filled up with water and paint. I hope you like the video!!!!

Today we learnt about Punctuation!

In 3/4 Octopus we have been learning about data!

Here are 3 examples of our data that we graphed today. Pip is on the top , Sean is in the middle and Tarra is on the bottom!

 

 Today in 3/4 Octopus we were working hard on handwriting.

Here are some of Octopus’ handwriting, on the bottom is Jenna’s, and in the middle is Emma’s and on the top is Amelia’s. Emma and Amelia wrote about Whale’s Tails and Jenna wrote about Gems and Crystals. (:
